Room Box


I did a quick run through IKEA yesterday for a few storage things and came away with a vegetable box...a room box, that is! I would not have known that the Rationell Variera was for veggies if you asked me. I saw it for its mini potential and built-in backdrop and windows!

Credits: Room box is IKEA; White couch and doll are Bozart; orange stool and hanging lamp are vintage Lundby; kitten is Playmobil City; egg tables and coffee cup are Re-ment; plant is an aquarium plant; pot is from a craft store.

    Love the interior too, so quick done but with your good taste!
    I've got two boxes: Lekman and Estetisk. Are the names of the procucts international? You will have fun with it. I'm looking forward to seeing it with lundby or other small furniture.

  4. The backdrop is great! I think I must head to Ikea soon too! This one is perhaps a bit big for me, but some have large ceiling heights so why not? :-)

  5. Hi Oese! I think I saw the Lekman at IKEA. It comes in different colors with square cut-outs, right? This one is good for small scenes like this -- it was nice to have it so simple (and not as many credits to write!).

    Thanks, Pubdoll! I think they had another size that was bigger, but longer and more rectangular, so perhaps lower ceiling height. Not sure. It was a very quick run through the store while half my family was waiting in the parking lot!

  13. Hi Bailey, no updates yet, but I am working on scraping off the layers of paint and wallpaper. I must get back to it soon, but it is hard to dedicate the time and effort with a full-time job and my three kids! Choosing wallpaper is a touch decision as well!

  15. Hi Lizzie! Yes, I think I may have to give up on the Citadel and paper over after sanding down what I can! That's what's nice about a room box -- no fuss, no muss! :)
